We worked with leading climate change advocacy organization 350 Action and our partners atFeralto develop a 'get out the vote' campaign to encourage swing state millennial supporters of Bernie Sanders to vote for Hillary Clinton.
We came acrossResearchrevealing that many young people didn't see a difference between the two candidates on environmental issues. To address this we looked to work with Bernie Sanders to highlight the contrast of Hillary Clinton's environmental plans and Donald Trump's views on climate change.
We filmed Senator Sanders as he campaigned for Hillary Clinton across the country. Capturing Bernie in candid and intimate portraits behind the scenes, making for a more subdued and reflective message about the movement he created and how his call to rally behind Clinton was not just about helping her to get elected but to "transform the country into the nation we know it can become".
The video was viewed close to half a million times, shared over 4,000 times, including being featured in Elite Daily, Politico, Shoot magazine and Bernie Sanders' Twitter and Facebook accounts.
In addition to the content we created with Bernie Sanders, we also delivered a guide and template for influencer's to connect with the campaign #VoteThenGetOut. We created simple ways for people to rally each other to Vote November 8th and then get back out November 9 to work towards making a more just, cleaner and safer planet.
